Returning to Neocities

After a very long hiatus, I’ve decided to give Neocities another try.

The main reason for nuking my old site was that I wasn’t satisfied with the content. I don’t think my writing style is up to snuff. Plus, I usually don’t have that much to say.

Nevertheless, I’ve decided to give this another try. Some people say having a public commitment is a good way to hold oneself accountable, and I’m in need of polishing my writing, especially when it comes to mathematical stuff. What better time to start such a commitment than the beginning of a new year.

My main interests are in the areas of philosophy and mathematical logic. The latter is a very technical subject matter, so I don’t expect a lot of people to read that content. But I find it to be extremely interesting, bearing as it does on central philosophical issues. I’m also interested in tech stuff, primarily around Linux and programming. I’m not a programmer, but I do like to dabble into CS, as it intersects with mathematical logic at the most abstract level.

I will try to keep the design of this website as minimalist as possible. However, pages containing mathematical symbols will require Javascript being enabled, as I’m using MathJax to render them.
