First post!

Hello, there!

This is my first post on Neocities. I’m looking forward to doing my part on the rebirth of the early web.

Currently, I do not have much to say, but I plan in the coming days to migrate here some posts I made in Project Gemini (see the Gemini Circumlunar Space). Like Neocities, the Gemini space is an attempt at simplifying how we transmit content on the Internet, except that it is purely text based. There is no HTML coding there, only a striped down version of Markdown (see this short Markdown guide). I was very excited when I jumped into the Gemini protocol and started writing my first “Gemlog”. Unfortunately, Gemini seems to have stalled in growth, and it is somewhat confusing (and frustrating!) to navigate. Seldom do I find content that I’m interested in, and some search results are nothing but code text. Gopher, a much earlier Internet protocol, is another option and easier to navigate, but it too suffers from little growth and unreadable pages. So that’s why I’m here.

Anyway, my interests are mostly centered on tech-related stuff, mainly Linux and the command line, analytic philosophy, some abstract math, and a little bit of physics.

Obviously, this webpage is a work in progress. More to come!
